RULES TO GOVERN OUR PODCAST AND FACEBOOK PAGE
Reliance
We are in essence in online Bible study devoted learning what the Bible says about the idea of living the Christian life by an obedience to the commandments mentality or a reliance on God's grace ( power) to live the Christian life.
Safe zone
We are creating a safe environment in which one shares what one has learned from the Bible. In this environment it is OK to be wrong but it's not OK to judge someone else who is wrong. We do not label our fellow Bible students.
Up Front
Here we do not speak about our fellow Bible students outside of the podcast. and we do not speak about our fellow Bible students when they're not around to share why they feel they have learned something. We conduct ourselves in a state of humility.
"Ideas" not people
We do not speak about our fellow Pastors on the podcast. We only speak about ideas, thought, verses and doctrines, and not people. We are all trying to learn what the biblical doctrines are and build on a biblical foundation. We want the fundamentals of Christianity.

Problem of Legalism
If you are wanting to learn more when it comes to understanding legalism, a good place to start is the problem of legalism. The first problem of legalism is that it is a false gospel. God’s pleasure and delight is not dependent on obedience.
The lie and main problem of legalism is that many believe that God will find more pleasure in them because their obedience is greater than others or that God views them with disgust because they are not growing in grace as fast as others.
A great way to combat the problem of legalism is to remember that God’s pleasure comes outside of us through Jesus Christ.
When it comes to the subject of the problem of legalism, we are passionate about helping others understand it more. We address the following:
- Irony of legalism
- False gospel of legalism
- Rules of legalism
- Understanding legalism

Legalistic Christianity
Some of the greatest confrontations that Jesus had while on earth include that with legalists. Legalistic Christianity is living by a rigid set of rules and also quickly judging others by those rules.
Our good works should reflect the desire of our heart to worship Christ. We want to help others learn about the dangers of legalistic Christianity by learning more about:
- God’s Word and legalistic Christianity
- Defining legalism
- God’s grace vs. legalism
- How to recognize legalistic Christianity
